Monarto

Today we went to Monarto Zoological Park with John's parents, Paul, Jo and Caitlin. I was hoping it was going to be fairly quiet because it was forecast to rain all day. Unfortunately, when we got there it was packed.

Still, it was another lovely day. I can't wait to go back.

It's been a while...

The other week we had a bit of a fire scare at work. As the offices are undergoing renovations, there have been lots of workmen around doing lots of work :o)

One of them was up in the roof fixing the aircon. Apparently doing something with an angle grinder, and the insulation caught on fire. Due to the toxic fumes, we were told that we weren't allowed back in the building for about 1 hour. Since Hazel, Simone and I didn't have any money to go shopping, we thought we'd go down to the beach.

We went past the block today. It's been locked up for a while, so we can't actually get inside, but we could see our new kitchen through the window. Sorry about the poor quality.

Mum, dad, Lian and Laurent have now jetsetted off to Singapore for my Cousin Karen's wedding. We wish her and her new husband all the best and look forward to seeing photos.

Quick update

Well not much has happened with the house over Christmas - not that we expected it to. This week however they did do the render on the front which is pretty cool.


The puppies also got spoilt on Christmas Eve - they got to spend some time in bed with us. They looked so cute I couldn't resist taking a photo (too bad about their evil-eyes).
